You approve the order and provide the letter of authority or latest bill required by the losing provider.
Once accepted, we agree a port date and prepare your chosen SIP, phone or divert route before cutover.
The number moves on the confirmed date. We monitor the route and verify inbound calling after completion.
Do not cancel your existing service before the port completes. The account name, installation address and postcode normally need to match the losing provider’s records. Complex multi-line, hosted or broadband-linked services may require additional checks.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a number can be ported. UKDDI will confirm feasibility and charges before accepting an order. A porting-out administration charge of £25.00 per number, plus VAT where applicable, applies when transferring a UKDDI number to another provider, and minimum-term charges remain payable.
